ALTITUDE HEADQUARTERS POLE VAULT CLINIC

All pole vaulters must submit WAIVER and MEDICAL forms before participating in any activities at Altitude Headquarters Pole Vault Club.  Waiver and Medical forms may be printed front/back to save paper.  Vaulters under the age of 18 must have a guardian signature on their Waiver form before beginning any activities.  New vault club members and vault clinic participants should fill out the General Information form along with their Waiver and Medical forms.  Pole vault clinic participants please fill out the free t-shirt section of the form.  You must log on to altitudeheadquarters.com to view and choose your options for your free short sleeve t-shirt.  Please send checks (Made out to: Shawn Beamer) along with Waiver, Medical, and General Information forms to:

FUTURE UPCOMING CLINICS

#1 HOW TO VAULT CORRECTLY CLINIC

     This clinic is designed to show athletes proper vaulting technique through instruction, drills, and pole vaulting exercises.  A more structured clinic illustrating various drills and concepts relate to the run, plant, take off, swing, and inversion.  Hands on experience that will help vaulters understand the vault and how to design a workout program during track season that will produce positive results. Super nice facility,  delayed video, two pits with new runways and tons of drilling stations.  Six hours of fun starting at 10:30 and ends at 4:30, a positive experience for beginners through intermediate (limited to 12 vaulters).  Cost of this clinic is only $89 which includes pizza and a drink for lunch, plus a  Altitude headquarters t shirt . Tentative date for this camp is: March 10, 2012  

 

#2 HANDS ON- POLE VAULT DRILLS AND VAULTING
     This clinic is designed for the vaulters wanting more time vaulting and drilling.  Vaulters will learn by doing, exercising multiple drills used to teach the athletes a solid training progression for the upcoming season.  An extensive vault session will allow coaches to work with each vaulter closely, working on the fundamentals of the event.  Delayed video allows the vaulter to receive instant feedback on every jump, plus we are adding rope vault off of a platform.  A great opportunity to check out our facility and learn about your bad habits and how to correct them.   We have over 120 poles on the runway and a beautiful practice facility. Get rested for this one because I guarantee you will be tired at the end of this clinic. Designed for intermediate and advanced vaulters.  A six hour workout session starting at 10:30 and ends at 4:30.  Cost of this clinic is only $89 which include pizza and a drink for lunch plus an Altitude Headquarters t shirt. (limited to 12 vaulters)  Tentative dates for this camp are: March 3, 2012

 

#3 TOP END CLINIC
     This clinic will concentrate on the top end of the vault.  Rings, balancing drills, and raised runway drills will be used to get the athletes to into the drive line of the pole during inversion.  Delayed video and power point presentations will help the vaulters understand the correct technique, and have a better understanding of how to train the top end to add height to their vault.  A do not miss clinic starting at 10:30 and ends at 4:30, a great time limited to 12 vaulters.  Cost of this clinic is $89 and includes a Altitude Headquarters t shirt, pizza, and a drink. Tentative dates for this camp is:
